These week i have in my mailbox these two amazing books.
High school confidential by Jeremy Version
It's spring semester at Mirador High in Southern California, and twenty-four-year-old Jeremy Iversen is going deep undercover to deliver the real deal about the dull classes and fast times of American teens today.

Trading in his suit and tie for jeans and skater shoes, Iversen posed as a senior transfer student. He took six classes five days a week, dissected a cat, got sent to detention, hung out at the mall, signed yearbooks, and graduated in cap and gown. He infiltrated the homes of his teenage friends, met their parents, and went to their parties. For one entire semester, he led the life of a modern-day high school student -- and lived to tell all about it.

This book is really good so far.... but it's so long lol

Intern By Bonnie Hearn Hill
April Wayne, 23, disappears without a trace while interning for California State Sen. Eric Barry. When the media learn that the senator was the last person to be seen with April and that the two were supposedly having an affair, he becomes their prime suspect. April's parents, Gloria and Jack Wayne, are shocked by the news of their daughter's disappearance and affair, which drives a wedge between them. Gloria becomes consumed with finding April, while Jack descends into a paralyzing depression. Senator Barry worries more about his next election than about April. Suzanne Barry, who has always been loyal to her husband, is overcome with doubt about their life together when she learns that he has been unfaithful. "He gives me one of his dazzlers across the table. I want to believe in the face, the eyes, the voice, but I can't." Suzanne's naivete is implausible, but Hill skillfully draws subtle parallels between Suzanne and Gloria as they both deal with their devastating anxieties and scolding consciences. The resolution may be a bit lurid for some tastes, but that won't make it any easier to put this page-turner down.

Book Review: Love Sick By Jake Coburn

Love Sick

"A complicated love, with secrets and consequences"

Before Reading: I was excited, when I got this book in the mail. Before hand i read summaries about the book and decided to order it. The cover of the book attracted me to read it. I skimmed through the book and honestly knew it was going to be "Heart Racing".

During Reading: I became immediately attracted to the characters. Each character became real. I longed to know more about each. Erica was stuck in my mind through out the book. Ted was truly one of the most vivid characters. Two different people brought together by addiction. Both were addicted to different things. But yet found each other in the same position.

After Reading: I can honestly say that the author did an amazing jobs. I felt relieved at the end of the book to know that Erica was getting help. It came to me, that maybe her sickness was brought on by being completely alone most of the time. Having the perfect life such as money and connections but none who really appreciate her and who she really is .Her dad played a huge role in her sickness and didn't even notice that with his over protective actions he was killing her. Then theres Ted the basketball star. Drinking became his escape. Each time it felt better. All the pressure gone and everything forgotten. His basketball career was gone along with his future. Two teens with different problems and from different world collide together and find relieve in each other. How it started doesn't matter just how its going to end. Erica and Ted are now officially "sober".

Every Monday i post an AMAZING book that i have read, reading or TO BE READ. Today i choose a to be read book. The reason was that I read the book summary and loved it. I'm a very imaginative person and this book just wowed me into another world just by reading a few sentences. Theres nothing my creative mind can't imagine and this BOOK just made my day. The cover says it all. Rage is just simply AMAZING. There is no way to argue against it, So i think, I can be a very convincing person.

Here's a Little Summary (Courtesy of Borders.com)
A National Book Award Finalist offers an intense portrait of an abusive relationship. In the precarious place where attraction and need collide, a teenager experiences the dark side of a first love, and struggles to find her way into a new light.

Just from reading this, i mind just went out of control. This book leaves the impression of something more. And gets you thinking, and when i say thinking i mean THINKING HARD. Brace yourself for a unique experience. Believe it or not, Fiction or Non Fiction, everyday young teenage girls find themselves in an abusive relationship. Please don't be one of them don't be abused or be the abuser.

I Recommend this book to EVERYONE. A+ Making the WORLD a little bit safer is everyone's responsibility and I'm trying to do my part, very well.... I leave you with something to think...

" I must do my job, not sloppy, but well done" Be the hero not the villain... My story .. your story should be told.. let the voices flow like the wind, that embraces against your cheeks on a sunny day!

The Lovely Bones

The Lovely Bones is 2002 novel by Alice Sebold. It is the story of a teenage girl who, after being brutally raped and murdered, watches from heaven as her family and friends go on with their lives, while she herself comes to terms with her own death. The novel received a great deal of critical praise and became an instant bestseller.

I'm dying to read the book and see the movie and compare how both relate to something different. This story is different from what readers are used to. It might be out of your comfort zone, but its intriguing. Definitely a must read. So i as a reader give it a A+.
The movie version would be released on December 11,2009.

Here's the trialer! Hope you enjoy

Currently Working on my first novel ever..(omg so excited) someday it will be published lol

Here's a spoiler of my first novel called "Healing Wounds"
Genre: Young Adult

Alex never thought she would be betrayed by her own mother. When her mother ran away with her high school Ex English teacher, which was also her boyfriend caused her family to break apart. Her father became an alcoholic and her older brother was out of control. She was left in charge of managing her dad's company and finances. When she finds out she is pregnant, the only hope left is therapy to rebuild the family. Can Alex make it through this storm?

Chapter 1: Beginning of the end
The sun was shinning down on me. I felt light and accomplished. It was June 16, the day of my graduation. My parents sat on the first row of seats happy and smiley. The grass bloomed of beautiful daisies. The arena in seconds was filled with proud parents. Senior year reflected my hard work. Saying goodbye to good friends was harder that i imagine. I wasn't sure why i felt lonely and not excited. When i looked back everything returned to reality. A empty seat between my dad and my brother. What i thought that looked like something suddenly became nothing. I tried so hard to hold my tears, but they just flooded out. I was crying for so many things at once. It was the ending of nothing and the beginning of something. As, i walked up the stage to receive my diploma, i struggle not to look back. Behind laid the memories that stabbed me in the back, emotionless thrive to tear me apart. A few hours ago my mom ran away, taking with her the most expensive arts. She didn't say why just that she wanted to fly, taking with her my boyfriend Daniel Evans. Blinking away the memories that kept flowing back, i tried to live in the present and forget the past. She broke a bond that took seventeen years to construct, throwing away the love between. The day of my graduation no longer became excitement, ending the same way it started, with tears in my eyes. Hurt didn't compared to the pain i felt. In my womb grew a child from the one i loved. Now i was alone like a daisy in the shining sun. What seemed right was totally wrong. David was everything i thought he never was. I can't erase, the hurt and tears he put on my face. There's nothing left but to let go, of everything i wanted when he came along. I have never been broken, beaten and defeated like this. I lost track of time, had nowhere to go. I never thought it would end this way. The story was suppose to last and he wasn't suppose to be just part of my past. Warning didn't come on time. By the time i realized it, there was nothing left in my life.He took everything with him including my heart. All is left is aches of the burning fire, started by lies. I wasn't capable of surviving this fight. I tripped and fell until the wounds hurt like hell. Now I'm capable to stand strong, forgetting the past and moving on. Just another day, like every other day. Nothing in the sky prevents the rain. Only a shield prevents the pain. Thank god i made it to see another day.

Hope you liked it...I'm only human..
